Bangkok

Well after almost 18 hours of travelling we made it to Bangkok. As we walked out of the airport to taxi to our hotel, we were hit with the humid, hot air. It was roughly 38 degrees Celsius and that was the norm here, deffanitly going to take some getting used to. We then ventured to our hotel Marvin Suites, which was about 45 minutes away from the airport. At first glance I noticed we were probably not in the best location, as there was zero other backpackers and it appeared to be mainly locals. I wasn't dissapointed, actually slightly relieved if be surrounded by actual culture, not just the tourist traps. During our 2 night stay here we struggled with jet lag, barely being able to stay awake past 5 pm  and waking up at the peak hours of 430 am. During our stay in Bangkok, we saw the amazing Grand Palace, with several temples and really got to soak up the culture (at 38°).
